the filter connection for contamination, deformation, fractures or cracks. If necessary,
replace the valve. To replace the valve at the filter connection, first unfasten the inner
mask. When fitting the valve, make sure that it fits completely beneath the three hooks
on the mounting and that it rests evenly on the valve seat. Inner Nose Cup (Spare
Part No. 9991) One size, fits both the M- and L-size masks 9002; 9003; 9005 and
9006. Head Straps (Spare Part No. 9992) To replace the head straps, pull each strap
through the retainer until the straps release from the mask. Feed the new straps through
the retainers. When doing so, make sure that the Moldex logo is facing outwards, and
not towards the head. Filter Seal (Spare Part No. 9974 [c]) Pull the filter sealing ring
from the filter connection and check it for contamination, deformation, fractures or
cracks. If necessary, replace the filter sealing ring. Masks with EN 148-1 connection
(9004, 9005, 9006): Spare Part No. 9975 Protective Lens Film (Spare Part No.9993)
Pull the old protective film away from the lens. Remove the protective paper from both
adhe-sive strips on the replacement film. Position the protective film on the lens by align-
ing the recesses on the lower edge and press it on. Spectacles Mount (Spare Part No.
9998) Fit the spectacles mount as described in the instructions provided.
