In RDR MK Shutter Valve it is possible to set the activation
positions (from 1 to 4) in accordance to the Customer's
need. The diagram of Grap.1 shows the oil flow level at
which the shutter valve is activated accordingly to the
product (DN-25, DN-50, DN-80) and the chosen positions
(1, 2, 3 and 4).
For setting the positions please consult the Appendix A.

CAUTION
Electrical connections should only be performed by qualified
and skilled personnel trained in the applicable health and safety
regulations of the relevant country.
WARNING
Dangerous electrical voltages!
It is imperative to deactivate the power supply during wiring of
the device.
RDR-MK Shutter Valve has 2 trip change-over switches.
In the below figure 3 the contacts positions referred to the
activated status (disk valve is closed).

Operation, maintenance
and storage
The Shutter Valve type RDR-MK is ready for immediate
operation after installation and electrical connection.
Maintenance
No special maintenance is required during operation.
We recommend to perform the following checks:
• Check the external condition of the device.
• To verify the contacts function.
• Check the gaskets condition and if any leakage is
present.
The Shutter Valve type RDR-MK must remain stored in the
original packaging and in a dry place with temperature
range between -10°C to 40°C.
Upon receiving the Shutter Valve type RDR-MK, please
check:
• The outer surface of the packaging to check that it is
intact.
• That there are no breakages to the packaging.
If damages are found, please contact us , providing the
data given on the shipping list and the serial number of the
Shutter Valve type Comem RDR-MK .
CAUTION
Do not paint the device. In this case any warranty concerning the
corrosion will expire.
Only mild soap and water should be used to clean the electrical
box cover. Solvents must not be used for any reason as they will
degrade the performance of the paint. Use of solvents on the
unit will immediately void the warranty.
