Insertion of the battery:
Move the switch (8) in central OFF position.
Lift the cap (25) and retract the rainproof cover (23) and slide the battery down the guides until
in place and locked by the button (P) (Fig. 7b).
Carefully and precisely reposition the rainproof cover (23) so as to cover the upper and lower
parts of the battery (Fig. 7c) then tightly close the battery compartment with the cap (25).
After removing or inserting the battery make sure of the precise repositioning of the rain-
proof cover (23) and the cap (25).
Check that the cover adheres laterally and covers the upper and lower parts of the battery.
Wrong positioning of the rainproof cover and cap can cause water ingress resulting in damage
to the motor and/or battery
