1. Wash the fill tank and pitcher with mild detergent. Rinse
thoroughly and place the fill tank in the top of the unit.
2. Unwrap the filter cartridge and rinse it thoroughly under running
water. Install the filter cartridge in the fill tank. The rubber ring
should fit firmly around the top of the filter cartridge and form a
seal when correctly in place.
3. Rinse the microsponge filter under running water until it
becomes pliable.
4. Fit the microsponge into place in the top of the filter cartridge.
Press on the microsponge several times to expel any trapped air.
5. Pour water into the fill tank as shown. NOTE: Do not fill the tank
above the maximum fill mark. Fill with cold water only.
6. Check to see if any water is leaking from around the rubber ring
seal on the filter cartridge. If desired, the tank may be lifted out
for inspection. If leaking is detected, tighten the filter cartridge
by turning it.
7. Open the door and place the pitcher in its compartment. When
completely inserted the pitcher will click into place. This opens

is automatically closed to prevent leakage.
8. Before first use, flush the unit by filtering and discarding two
full tanks of water. Perform this flush whenever installing a new
filter cartridge.
9. Your PiMag Aqua Pour Express is ready for use.
