Microsponge filter
For cleaning, regularly rinse the microsponge under running tap water. DO NOT USE
DETERGENT. Replace the microsponge if its surface becomes permanently discolored
or hardened.
Filter cartridge
The cartridge requires no maintenance. It will filter approximately 2,200 liters of water
(1,000 fill cycles) before replacement. This equals three months of average use.
Fill tank
Remove the microsponge and filter cartridge occasionally and wash out the fill tank with
mild detergent. Be sure to rinse thoroughly before reinstalling the cartridge and sponge.
Care and caution
• Never fill the tank above the maximum fill mark.
• Make sure there is no leakage around the cartridge rubber seal.
• Make sure the pitcher lid is properly fitted to the top of the pitcher.
• Always insert the pitcher in the direction indicated by the arrow on the lid.
• If water flow does not begin after filling, press downward on the microsponge to expel
air bubbles.
• Do not leave the Aqua Pour Express in direct sunlight.
• The Aqua Pour Express should be washed regularly and should always be flushed two or

three times before using, following a period of non-use.
• Never put the pitcher or any component of the Aqua Pour Express in a dishwasher.
The contaminants or other substances reduced by this water treatment device are not necessarily in your
water. Use only on municipally treated water or other supply known to be microbiologically safe.
CAUTION: Fill with cold water only. This product contains silver used to inhibit the growth of bacteria in
the filter. Silver has a low toxicity to humans but is highly toxic to fish and other aquatic life. This product
is designed to remove objectionable tastes, odors and colors from municipally treated tap water.
If you use an electronic medical device such as a pacemaker, or have a magnetically sensitive surgical
implant, do not use or wear magnetic products. Women in the first trimester of pregnancy, or anyone
who has a health problem should first consult a physician before using magnetic products. Do not place
magnetic products in direct contact with magnetically sensitive items such as watches, audio/video
tapes, credit cards, portable electronic equipment, etc.
