order to verify Chicco BebèCare operation.
f) Enter the information about the baby
After associating the car seat with the family
account, enter the name and date of birth of
the child. You can also enter a photograph.
Artsana does not guarantee equipment oper-
ation in conditions other than those indicated
above, or in the case of improper use (including,
but not limited to, use with minors who are
not correctly secured to the car seat, if used
with animals, etc.).
1.2 HOW CHICCO BEBÈCARE FUNCTIONS
The system is activated/connected after a few
seconds from the moment the baby is placed
in the car seat and signals the presence of the
baby in the car seat via the APP. The activation/
connection time varies based on the specific
characteristics of the smartphone; in some
cases, a few dozen seconds may be necessary.
The alarm system is activated the moment
that the smartphone that is connected to the
car seat moves away from the car in which the
car seat is installed with the baby in the car.
Chicco BebèCare features three alarm levels:
• Alarm 0: If the child is left on board and the
smartphone moves away only briefly, the sys-
tem will send a simple distance alert. However,
if the smartphone stays away for more than 3
minutes the first level alarm will be triggered.
• First level alarm: should the owner of the
smartphone currently connected to the car
seat move away from the vehicle leaving the
child on board for more than three minutes, an
acoustic and visual alarm that can be silenced
within 40 seconds will appear on the smart-
phone. If the smartphone moves towards
the car seat, this will not stop the alarm, and
it will be necessary to interact with the APP
by pressing the "STOP" button.
• Second level alarm: this is activated the mo-
ment in which the first level alarm was not
silenced within the time window provided for
the first level alarm, and sends alarm messages
to all the predefined emergency numbers with
the information needed for geolocating the
area where the baby is located.
The Chicco BebèCare APP comes with a pack-
age of "alarm messages" that will decrease
with every second level alarm message by a
number equal to that of the emergency con-
tacts entered. Alarm messages can be bought
through the Chicco BebèCare APP.
In the event of insufficient residual alarm messag-
es, it is necessary to proceed with the purchase
of one of the packages available in the dedicated
"Purchases" section of the APP. If an insufficient
number of alarm messages is available, the sys-
tem is disabled and will not operate.
If there is no internet connection (mobile net-
work of WiFi), Chicco BebèCare easy-tech will
correctly activate alarm 0 and the first level
alarm, but it may not be able to send the alarm
messages to the emergency numbers (second
level alarm).
1.3 USING THE CHICCO BEBÈCARE APP
ON MULTIPLE DEVICES
After registering the family account and as-
sociating the car seat with Chicco BebèCare
using the smartphone by scanning the QR
code, it is possible to use Chicco BebèCare also
with other smartphones that have the Chicco
BebèCare APP installed. It is possible to use the
same family account with an unlimited number
of devices that have previously installed the
Chicco BebèCare APP.
The settings predefined using the first smart-
phone (emergency numbers, association of the
car seat and the child's data) will be automati-
cally available also on the other smartphones
with the Chicco BebèCare APP and that are
using the same family account.
IMPORTANT: if the family password is changed,
the new password must be shared with all the
users who use the same family account.
IMPORTANT: if there are two smartphones in
the same car that were previously associated
with the car seat and both have the Chicco
BebèCare APP active, the car seat will connect
with ONLY one of the two based on the reac-
tivity of the Bluetooth® system of the individual
