bands, can be stored in memory.
! You can also recall services assigned to preset
tuning buttons 16 by pushing
MULTI-CONTROL up or down.
! You can also store the service in memory by
using the preset service list. (Refer to Selecting
services from the preset service list on the next
page.)
Setting the announcement
support interruption

Use MULTI-CONTROL to select AS.
The function name tag AS is highlighted.

Push MULTI-CONTROL left or right to
select the desired announcement support.
Push MULTI-CONTROL left or right until the
desired announcement support appears in the
display.
! Announce Announcement
! Weather Area weather flash

Press MULTI-CONTROL to turn the se-
lected announcement support interruption
on.
# To turn the selected announcement support
interruption off, press MULTI-CONTROL.
Receiving the road traffic flash
and transport flash

Press TA to turn road traffic flash and
transport flash on.
TA ON appears in the display.
# To turn the road traffic flash and transport
flash off, press TA again.

Press TA while the road traffic flash and
transport flash are being received to cancel
the announcement interruption.
Receiving news flash
% Press TA and hold to turn news flash
on.
Press TA until NEWS ON appears in the dis-
play.
# To turn news flash off, press TA and hold
again.
Switching the service follow

Use MULTI-CONTROL to select
Service Follow.
The function name tag Service Follow is high-
lighted.

Press MULTI-CONTROL to turn on ser-
vice follow.
# To turn off service follow, press
MULTI-CONTROL.
Switching primary or
secondary service component

Use MULTI-CONTROL to select 2nd.
The function name tag 2nd is highlighted.

Press MULTI-CONTROL to select the de-
sired service component.
Press MULTI-CONTROL until the desired ser-
vice component appears in the display.
