Initial confi guration of Hansgrohe RainBrain
The confi guration and the welcome screen are off ered every time the device
is turned on until the initial installation is performed.
Confi guration with Hansgrohe showers:
Perform the following steps:
• Figure 1 Select your language. You can select your language by pressing
the respective button on the display (German is default setting). Press
Next.
• Figure 2 Select the desired temperature unit on the display. Press Next.
• Figure 3 In the shower assignment screen, press:
Hansgrohe products. Press Next.
• Figure 4a/4b Now, select between head, hand and side showers step by
step from the Hansgrohe assortment. Press Next.
• Figure 5 Depending on your shower's confi guration, you can set up music,
light and water volume. Required accessories: Photoelectric relay item
27189000, power box with water volume function item 15842000;
15842400 and an audio amplifi er and speakers for music playback.
• Figure 6 Select the desired showers for the cascade function. Press Next.
• Figure 7 Conclude the confi guration by selecting OK.
• The basic image will be displayed.
Confi guration with showers by other manufacturers:
Perform the following steps:
• Figure 1 Select your language. You can select your language by pressing the
respective button on the display (German is default setting). Press Next.
• Figure 2 Select the desired temperature unit on the display. Press Next.
• Figure 3 In the shower assignment screen, press: Other products. Press
Next.
• Figure 8 Select a connection by pressing an empty button fi eld.
• Figure 9a and 9b Select a suitable icon and press OK.
• Figure 10 Now select the respective icon for the connected fi ttings and
showers (up to 5 possible). A blank fi eld is selected for unused connections.
Press Next.
• Figure 5 Depending on your shower's confi guration, you can set up music,
light and water volume. Required accessories: Photoelectric relay item

All settings and symbols can be changed later in the settings menu by selecting
connection confi guration.
The combination must be started with the Start/Stop key of the rotary knob
in order not to activate any other functions. All keys must be pressed until the
system level is displayed.
