Explanation of LED Indicators

4.1

LED Power

As a control, the green LED indicator designated "Power" shows
whether the VIT-A1 DSL-Tester is switched in the "on" or the "off"
status. Depending upon the position of the flip-switch on the front side of
the housing, the LED indicator is lighted in the "On / ADSL Test" mode
or, on the other hand, it is not lighted in the "Off / Line Test" mode.
Furthermore, the LED indicator extinguishes in the "On / ADSL Test"
switch position should the device automatically switch off due to
depleted batteries or due to turning of or unplugging an existing
external power supply. In order to turn the device on again after such an
event, the flip-switch must first be positioned in the "Off / Line Test"
setting and then re-positioned to the "On / ADSL Test" setting.
