REMOVAL/INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
576-594 FUEL TANK
Installation Instructions
STEP 1: Read carefully all instructions found in the packaging. Install all necessary parts.
STEP 2: Replace wiring harness, if applicable (included with the tank assembly).
STEP 3: Strap fuel tank back on (ensure all rubber insulators are in place to prevent noise).
STEP 4: Reconnect filler neck, fuel and vapor hoses (Inspect condition of seals and clamps and replace,
as needed).
STEP 5: Reconnect electrical connectors and ground (Ensure cleanliness).
STEP 6: Install new fuel filter.
STEP 7: Add clean or filtered fuel back in the fuel tank (Never dry run a fuel pump).
STEP 8: Reconnect battery and/or related fuses.
STEP 9: Cycle the key ON several times without starting the engine with intervals of 10 seconds. between
cycles. This will pre-charge and re-pressurize the fuel system.
STEP 10: Start the engine and check and correct any fuel delivery system leaks.
STEP 11: Reconnect fuel pressure gauge and verify with manufacturer's specifications.
STEP 12: Road test vehicle.
Locate the Installation Kit (attached to flap of box).
