Operating Instructions

Read these instructions carefully before using the equipment for the first time.
These instructions contain important information on the use and care of the pro-
duct. Keep them in a safe place for reference or for ordering spare parts.
For Your Safety

This product may only be used for its intended purpose as a parasol base.

Check all components regularly for correct functioning, damages and loosened connec-
tions, especially at the beginning of the season and at intervals of 1-2 months, depen-
ding on the use. Check locking mechanisms, catches and joints in particular. If they are
rough-running, use commercially available silicone oil or contact our customer service.

Damaged components may endanger the safety of the user or shorten the service life of
the product. Replace all damaged parts immediately. Use only spare parts manufactured
by KETTLER.

Incorrect repairs or structural modifications to the product (e.g. removing original
KETTLER parts, mounting or assembling unsuitable parts etc.) may endanger the user's
safety. Should you wish to purchase spare parts, please contact your authorized dealer.

The manufacturer is not liable for any damage to the product caused by improper use.

Ensure that your working area is free of possible sources of danger, for example do not
leave any tools lying around. Always dispose packaging material in such a way that it
may not cause any danger. There is always a risk of suffocation for children who play
with plastic films/plastic bags!

The manufacturer is not liable for any damages caused by wind.
I
The parasol must be closed with arising wind in order to prevent it from overturning, in
particular in case of wind gusts arising suddenly.
Handling the product
I
Use the parasol base only together with an appropriate parasol. Due to the enclosed
adapter, a parasol with a tube diameter of 25-55 mm can be used.

Please consult your authorized dealer when buying a parasol since the selection of the
suitable parasol depends on the conditions in your region (the wind is considerably
stronger in coastal regions), the required use, the care requirements etc.

Please ensure that closed parasols do not flutter in the wind.

The parasol should be stored in a dry and dust-free area during the winter.
Caring instructions
I
Please brush away dirt with a soft brush. Stains can be removed using lukewarm water,
a soft brush and a little detergent. Afterwards, rinse thoroughly with plenty of water.
Please do not use aggressive detergents.

The product is 100% recyclable.
2 Year Guarantee
I
KETTLER guarantees that this product has been manufactured with the greatest care
using materials of highest quality. However, should you detect any defects, please
address your complaint to your dealer. Do not forget to submit your receipt of payment.
The guarantee commences on the day of purchase. Entitlement to service under the gua-
rantee does not recommence if repairs are carried out.

Damage caused by incorrect handling or use of force is not covered by this guarantee.
