KRATOS SAFETY certifies that this equipment has been tested in accordance with the standard EN 795:2012, Type B and TS 16415:2013 Type B.
Resistance > 15kN - Breaking strength > 16kN
COMPATIBILITY FOR USE:
The device is for use with a fall arrest system as defined in the product data sheet (see standard EN 363) to guarantee that the dynamic force exerted
on the user during the arrest of a fall is no greater than 6kN. A fall arrest harness (EN 361) is the only body-gripping device that may be used. It can be
dangerous to create one's own fall protection system in which each safety function can interfere with another safety function. Therefore, it is important
to read the recommendations on using each component in the system before use.
INSPECTION:
The expected service life of the product is not limited in time, if it is inspected annually by a competent person approved by KRATOS SAFETY.
The equipment must be systematically checked if in doubt or after a fall and at least every twelve months by the manufacturer or a competent person*
and in strict compliance with the manufacturer's periodic examination procedures (and in particular the Inspection Guides ref. GI XX-XXXXXX-XX), in
order to ensure its strength and therefore the safety of the user. The product data sheet should be completed (in writing) after each verification. The
date of inspection and date of the next inspection must be indicated on the data sheet. It is also recommended to put the date of the next inspection
on the product.
*: refer to the definition of a competent person on our website under: Info/Technical Advice
MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE: (These instructions must be strictly observed)
During transportation, keep the equipment away from any cutting edges and keep it in its packaging. Clean with water, wipe with a cloth and hang in a
ventilated room to dry naturally, ensuring that it is away from any direct light or source of heat; the same applies for elements that may have become
wet during use. The system must be stored in its packaging in a cool, dry and ventilated room.
