11 Decommissioning
Decommissioning of sensor: Observe all safety guidelines given in section
5 "Assembly".

Electrolyte
IMPORTANT
Protect yourself and your clothes from the electrolyte (acid)! (Protective
clothing, safety goggles). Corrosion or discoloration may result from
contact! Rinse immediately with cold water.
Unwanted electrolyte may be simply poured down the drain and rinsed away
with plenty of cold water.
Sensor
IMPORTANT
• Electronic waste is classified as special waste!
• Observe currently applicable local directives!

Disconnect sensor power terminals (see also section 6 "Installation").
Depressurise the in-line probe housing.
Loosen the tensioning screw.
Slowly remove the sensor from the in-line probe housing.
Unscrew the diaphragm cap over a washbasin or similar and empty.
Rinse away electrolyte with plenty of cold water.
Rinse the diaphragm cap and electrodes with clean water and allow to dry
away from dust.
Screw on the diaphragm cap loosely to protect the electrodes.
Put on the diaphragm cap cover to protect the diaphragm cap.
