We have provided a nail holder tool to use in this step for proper positioning of the nails. Please refer to the parts of the Nail

Holder as the bead, off set edge, and nail slot as shown in the diagram below.
Diagram 1. Place the LEFT BACK (O) into the lower edge of the LEFT REAR LEG (I) with the top edge of the LEFT BACK

against the bottom surface of the TOP (T).
Diagram 2. Place the bead of the nail holder down between the LEFT BACK (O) and LEFT REAR LEG (I) 2" from the

corner. Place a NAIL (1N) into the nail slot of the nail holder. Tap the nail through the BACK and into lower edge of the
LEFT REAR LEG (I). Remove the nail holder from the nail and completely tap the nail in with your hammer. Finish fastening
the BACK to the LEFT REAR LEG with the hammer and nail holder placing nails approximately 6-1/2" apart.
Diagram 3. To fasten the opposite edge of the LEFT BACK (O), place the off set edge of the nail holder down 2" from

the corner. Place a nail into the nail slot of the nail holder. Tap the nail through the LEFT BACK and into edge of LEFT
UPRIGHT (K). Remove the nail holder from the nail and completely tap the nail in with your hammer. Finish fastening the
BACK to the LEFT UPRIGHT with the hammer and nail holder placing nails approximately 6-1/2" apart.
