Auto, Boat, Camper & RV Use:
Your versatile and portable Ultra Air Deodorizer
is ready to use anywhere a 12V D/C power
source is available. Prior to use, remove the A/C
adapter (photo 8) from the Ultra Air and unplug
the cord from the Ultra Air's power supply input
port (#6 photo 4). Using the 12V D/C Adapter
(photo 9), plug the cord into the power supply
input port (#6 photo 4) and the adapter end into
any suitable 12V D/C power supply such as an
automobile's cigarette lighter (photo 10) and fol-

the A/C Adapter's use.
Replacing the Ultra Air Deodorizer
and Prefilter Elements:
Depending on application of use, the Ultra Air's
deodorizer (ozone) element and the prefilter
should be replaced at least once each year, or
sooner if in the unlikely event it should stop pro-
ducing ozone prematurely. The deodorizing ele-
ment panel is located on the underside of the
Ultra Air (#8 in photo 4). Note: Do not attempt
to open this panel to determine whether or not
the odor eliminating ozone (activated oxygen) is

working. Standing near the unit while it is in
operation should help you to detect the distinc-
tive aroma ozone produces. It is much the same
as outside air following an electrical storm.
Should you not detect an ozone aroma, it may be
that the ozone-producing element requires
replacement.
The front of the air intake grill (#1 in photo 1)
can be vacuumed to keep it free of sediments.
The air intake port cover can be removed by gen-
tly sliding the air intake port cover (photo 11)
upwards to replace the prefilter. Replacement
elements can be acquired by contacting your
Carico Distributor or Carico International, Inc.
Replacement of the ozone-producing element

and prefilter is executed per the limited warranty
