Electrical connections must be carried out by qualified personnel complying with local safety regulations.
The electric plant must be earthed. The ground wire of the mixer must be longer than other wires: in case of stripping,
the ground wire must be the last to detach from its connection.
Check that voltage and frequency values comply with electric mixer identification plate values.
The mixers are supplied for direct engine start-up: the starting device is equipped with a self-compensated differential
thermal relay to protect against phase failure and overload; the calibration amperage, indicated on the plate, accepts an
increase of up to 5%.
INSTALLATION TYPE P
Fix the lower support at the bottom of the tank and the upper support at the edge of the tank using adeguate locking elements and
checking the mutual alignment, then insert the guide pole 40x40 in the seat of the support at the bottom of the tank. Insert the
guide slide of the mixer and lower along the pole, then fix the pole to the support on the edge of the pool.
INSTALLATION TYPE T
The T installation involves placing the mixer supplied with a special adjustable support, by means of a 1"1/2 size tube. The
installation configurations with tube are multiple.
In T1 configuration, the pipe is fixed to a bracket directly resting on the slab of the tank, which must therefore be an open tank. The
T2 configuration foresees the fixing of a shelf on the edge of the tub, so that the bracket can be installed partially protruding from
the slab; also in this case the tub will be considered open. The T3 configuration is similar to the T2 but the bracket is totally resting
on the shelf at the edge of the pool, which can then be closed. The T4 configuration foresees the direct fixing of the mixer, by
means of a rotating support, on a ballast that can be positioned as desired.
Before starting the electric mixer, carry out a final check on electrical equipement and relative settings.
Inspection personnel must be vaccinated against diseases that can be contracted due to wounds, contact, inhalation.
Before any check, make sure that the power supply has been disconnected.
If it is necessary to inspect the tank, the personnel must efficiently ventilate the room so that there is adequate
oxygen. Ensure that there aren't toxic gases and that there is no risk of explosion before welding or using an electric
tool. Ensure the escape route for a quick return to the open environment.
Before intervening, make sure that the mixer is properly cleaned; observe all the necessary precautions for maximum
personal hygiene: waterproof apron, rubber gloves, safety goggles, mask. Follow the local provisions.
Use a helmet, a belt, a safety rope and, if necessary, a gas mask; avoid ignoring the danger of drowning. In any case,
never work alone.
Pay attention to the risks from electrical faults. Check the efficiency of the grounding and the degree of insulation of the
motor before subjecting it to tests.
When the motor is functioning, check that the current never exceeds the rating plate data and that the supply voltage
does not exceed 5% more than the nominal value.
