REMEMBER TO WORK UNDER SAFETY CONDITIONS
AND TO KEEP THE ENGINE TURNED OFF.
LATCH MODE (only for bike with battery installed)
LATCH MODE is a feature that uses the OEM battery to keep
the motorcycle system powered, so it is possible to perform
operations such as ZERO TPS and calibrations via WiFi-COM
(if included) or computer, without keeping the engine running.
HOW TO ENABLE IT:
Briefly push the start button (for less than 1 second) of the
vehicle to activate the starter motor but not to turn the engine on.
HOW TO DISABLE IT:
The latch mode will be automatically turned off:
- 3 minutes after first pressing the starter button or after the
last communication to the ECU by WiFi-COM or computer;
- after 15 minutes of continuous communication to ECU by
WiFi-COM or computer;
- when battery voltage is below 12 volts;
- when starting the engine.
Before proceeding with the throttle position calibration, check the
RX1PRO FW.CODE via the WiFi-COM. Install the free WiGET app,
open the menu and select SYSTEM INFO. Verify the value Fw. Code: If
it is higher or equal to RX1PRO14 (e.g., RX1PRO15, RX1PRO16) follow
procedure A. If the Fw.Code is lower than RX1PRO14 (e.g., RX1PRO13,
RX1PRO12), follow procedure B. For M.Y. 2021 or newer motorcycles
versions, follow procedure A. If the WiFi-COM is not included in the
kit, it is possible to verify and manage the TPS via MAYA programming
software (sold separately), or to buy the WiFi-COM on athena.eu.
