Operating instructions for backpack with lighting system

Call Alert ystem with vibration alarm
for incoming calls
Please charge the integrated battery (Li-Ion 3,7V 400 mAh) before
the first use via the Micro-USB charging socket above the on/off
switch.
For charging, please use the Micro-USB/USB cable included in the
side pocket in combination with a power plug with a USB port or
a powerbank (both not supplied) and pay attention to the correct
insertion direction of the Micro-USB charging socket.
The charging time depends on the loading current and is normally in
the range of 15-45 minutes.
The charging process is indicated by a red LED inside the on/off
switch. As soon as the battery is fully charged, the LED switches off.
To switch on the Call-Alert-System, press and hold the on/off switch
for 2 sec. until it vibrates and the LED flashes blue.
To connect (pair) the device with your smartphone, the smartphone's
Bluetooth function must be turned on. When the system is shut
off, press and hold the on/off switch for 5 sec. until the LED flashes
alternating red and blue. The SD PHONE ASSISTANT is now ready for
pairing, which usually has to be confirmed on the smartphone.
The successful pairing is indicated by a short vibration and the LED
flashing red. Most smartphones will automatically pair again with
the SD PHONE ASSISTANT if both the assistant and the Bluetooth
function on the smartphone are switched on. Otherwise, the pairing
must be repeated as described above.
To switch on the system, press and hold the on/off switch for 4 sec.
until it vibrates and the LED briefly flashes red.
Power-saving mode: The device will automatically power off after 5
min. without connection to a smartphone.

Smart Charging System
for external charging of
electronic devices
Electronic devices such as smartphones or
tablets can be comfortably charged via the ex-
ternal USB port integrated in the left shoulder
strap, if a charged powerbank (not supplied) is
connected to the USB cable in the main inside
compartment.
Your smartphone can be placed in the pocket
below the USB port to keep it close to hand.
Integrated rain cover
The rain cover located in the zipper pocket
at the bottom of the backpack can be easily
pulled over the backpack to effectively protect
it against water ingress.
