During installation, the adapter must be installed as a damper between the stopcock and the flow meter. Take note of
the arrow marked on the flow meter showing the correct direction of flow. Use the correct seals appropriate for the
pipe diameter only. In this way water can flow freely without added turbulence through the measuring area. Correct
flow measurement can only be achieved if these instructions are complied with.

Connect the flow meter to a 3/4" stopcock; see Fig. 1.

Connect the water inlet hose or Y-piece to the flow meter; see Fig. 2.

Remove the cover plate from the electrical connection on the rear of the washing machine; see the
model-specific TSD.

Connect the flow meter wiring as shown in the MF07 wiring diagram.

Refit the cover plate over the electrical connection on the rear of the washing machine.

Remove the washing machine lid; see the model-specific TSD.

Punch out an appropriately sized opening for the cable feed-through on the upper rear panel.

Install the cable feed-through on the upper rear panel.

Connect the flow meter wiring as shown in the PW6107 – PW6207 module 7 wiring diagram.

Fit the machine lid.

Remove the washing machine lid; see the model-specific TSD.

Punch out an appropriately sized opening for the cable feed-through on the upper rear panel.

Install the cable feed-through on the upper rear panel.

Connect the flow meter wiring as shown in the PW 8xx/4xx MF07 – FRZ wiring diagram.

Fit the machine lid.

Connect the flow meter connections to the terminal strip as shown in the wiring diagram.

Refit the cover plate to the connection box.

Final steps
A
Test any newly installed water-carrying components for leaks.
A
Carry out appropriate safety checks.

Activate the flow meter; see the service mode section in the model-specific TSD for the washing machine.
Run a manual data back-up for software IDs 1000/1001 and higher; see the service mode section in the model-
specific TSD for the washing machine.
A
Carry out a functional test by running a wash cycle to make sure that water is entering the machine correctly via the
flow meter.
