6. Signals from the arm module and the base
station
Both the arm module and the base station display signals about the status of the system.
The arm module uses a green LED and a red LED to display these signals. The base station
uses two green LEDs and a red LED, and is also supported by sound signals. The signals used
are shown below.

Continuous green LED
The NightWatch is able to detect seizures. The heartbeat is measured reliably, the

connection between arm module and base station is in order, the battery is in order, the
wearer is in a horizontal position (is lying in bed), the armband wearer has been at rest
for at least 2 minutes.
Rapidly blinking red LED (and the base station emits a 'ringing' sound)
A possible epileptic seizure has been detected! Check on the armband wearer.
