Open the cover on the front of the roof
rail.
From the front of the roof rail, slide the
loosely assembled base plate and insert
the nut plate into the groove of the roof
rail as illustrated.
Be sure to insert the nut plate with the
arrow marks facing the inside of the
vehicle.
While slightly raising the base plate,
slide it to the position where the base
sheet is attached, and tighten it with the
included hex wrench until it is firmly
fixed.
Seeing from above, verify that the
arrows are facing toward inside of the
vehicle.
