1. Ensure the seat is not in a reclined position (the indicator should
be in position 1). If necessary pull the seat recline lever
forward and position the seat to the desired position before
releasing the lever (fig. 6.1).
2. Place the child safety seat in the back seat of the vehicle facing
in the direction of travel (fig. 6.2).
3. Pass the vehicle seat belt through the slot on the back of the
safety seat
vehicle seat belt until you hear a click (fig. 6.4).
4. Take up the slack by pulling the abdominal section of the belt
until it is as tight-fitting as possible.
5. Pass the diagonal part of the seat belt through the guide at the
top of the seat as shown (fig. 6.5).
6. Take up the slack of the diagonal part of the seat belt as much
as possible and ensure the straps are not twisted at any point
(fig. 6.6).

To seat the child correctly follow the steps described in chapter 4.

1. To clean the straps and plastic elements of the seat use a neutral
detergent and warm water.
