The S4 sliding switches are used to assign the valve groups
(4 or 8 valves) (see "Selecting the valve supply" on page 71).
This enables e.g. a separate switch-off.
The power supply cable must fulfil the following requirements:

Cable socket: 4-pin, A-coded without center hole
W
Adjust the line cross-section to the total current and line
length: per wire > 0.5 mm
W
Length: max. 20 m

Dangerous voltages
A power pack without safe isolation may lead to dangerous
voltages. Injuries from electric shock and system damage
may be the consequences.

Only use a power pack with safe isolation according to
EN 60747, classification VDE 0551! This ensures that the
electric circuits comply with SELV/PELV electric circuits
in accordance with IEC 60364-4-41.
To connect the bus coupler load supply:
1. Set up the correct pin assignment (see Tab. 6 on page 66) on
the plug connections if you do not use pre-assembled
wiring.
2. Connect the bus coupler operating voltages using the plug
connector (see "Spare parts and accessories" on page 89).
3. Check the operating voltage specifications using the
electrical characteristics and comply with them (see chapter
2
