3. Installation and connection of the EFM
(see graphics starting on page 20)
NOTICE
The wires must be precisely laid according to the graphics for the
respective sizes (pages 20 - 26). Otherwise problems may arise when the
auxiliary switches are installed.
This is a Class A product. When used in a household setting, this device
can cause radio interference; in this case, the user may be requested to
carry out adequate measures to avoid such radio interference.
NOTICE
Wires which are not connected must be insulated!
To ensure the functionality of the EFM even with faulty fuses, it
is important, with the AC version, that the black
wires (1), (2), (3) size 00 or
wires (11), (12), (13) size 01 or
wires (21), (22), (23) size 02 / 03
are connected to the input voltage.
With the DC version:
wires (1), (3) size 00 or
wires (11), (13) size 01 or
wires (21), (23) size 02 / 03
(with infeed via copper bar).
Ensure correct polarity!

1 - Lift inspection window on the right side
2 - Push inspection window to the right (approx. 5 mm)
3 - Push out inspection window to the front

4 - Slide in the EFM, but do not lock it into place!
5 - Wiring
6 - Fasten the clips on the cable lug
7 - Insert the clips into the lyre-shaped contacts

9 - Connect the load feeder
10 - Connect the lines of the signaling relay (refer to the terminal diagram as
necessary)
11 - Slide in the EFM until it locks into place

12 - Insert the inspection window and lock into place by pushing it to the left

2 - Push out inspection window to the front
