1. INTRODUCTION.
Dear user. Thank you for purchasing your Kuzar K-10 lifting tower. We hope you are
satisfied with it.
This manual has been written so that you can understand how to effectively use the
tower and most importantly, the way you can use it safely. It is important to read the
manual and follow the instructions carefully before using the tower.
All Kuzar Towers are subjected to a very strict quality control process during its manufac-
ture. So that your lifting tower always works correctly.
Please only replace with genuine Kuzar parts from an authorized dealer. The user wai-
ves all warranty rights if they use non-Kuzar parts or if the product is tampered with by
an unauthorized third party.
When ordering parts, please refer to the drawings in this manual and quote the serial
number and year of manufacture located on the lift.
2 - TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS.
Kuzar lifting tower, model K-10 has been designed mainly to lift truss-type structures,
for the professional sound and lighting sector. Various Kuzar accessories are available,
please refer to our catalogue or website: www.kuzar.es.
2.1 - Max. load: 500 kg (1102 lb).
2.2 - Min. Load: 25 kg (55 lb).
2.3 - Max. Height: 7 m (23 ft).
2.4 - Folded height: 1.68 m (5.51 ft).
2.5 - Work surface: 2.29 x 2.29 m (7.51x7.51 ft).
2.6 - Folded base area: 80 cm x 57.5 cm (2.62x1.87 ft).
2.7 - Weight: 150 kg (331 lbs).
2.8 - Winch: 900 kg certified.
2.9 - Cable: DIN 3060 steel. Tensile strength 180 kg/mm2. Anti-torsion and anti-corrosion
Ø6 mm.
2.10 - Construction material: Base made of DIN2394 steel profiles, and sections Alumi-
nium 6082 T6.
2.11 - Steel with black primer paint and anti-rust protection, powder coated, baked po-
lyester (E-poxy).
2.12 - Anti-fall safety lock with slotted guide placed in each section made of aluminium,
if the cable breaks, it blocks the downward movement of the tower.
2.13 - Anchoring of legs with safety triggers.
2.14 - Adjustable stabilizers on the legs with non-slip rubber support.
2.15 - Spirit level to adjust the vertical of the tower.
2.16 - Swivel wheels for transport.
3 - GUIDE FOR SAFE USE.
3.1 - Put the tower on a solid and flat surface.
3.2 - Check that the legs are completely inserted in their compartment and fixed by the
safety trigger.
