the steel web sling hugging the truss as in the step 4.6 and hook the forwarding to it.
Now proceed to unscrew the wing nuts and remove the screws from the joint of the lower
aluminium section with the iron base as in step 4.4, in this way the sections will be left
free to tilt the tower back to the ground. Turn very slightly the winch handle anticlockwise
while tilting the tower.
CAUTION: In this descent process it will be necessary to support weight on the rear legs
to compensate for the moment of inertia of the aluminium sections that make up the
tower and guard in case of unpredictable stress or external forces a possible expiration
of the tower.
4.18 - Once the tower is placed on the ground, disassemble the aluminium sections and
reposition the lower aluminium section together with the trolley in a vertical position steel.
4.19 - Turn the crank of the stabilizers to relieve the pressure and remove the legs from
their work housings to place on their located transport brackets at the base of the tower.
Insert the tie rods into the lower aluminium sections.
The tower will be ready for transport and storage.
5 - MAINTENANCE.
5.1 - All cables must be checked regularly. Defective cables must be replaced immedia-
tely. Do not use the lift with cables are in poor condition, as it is potentially very dange-
rous. Use only DIN3060 cables, supplied by an authorized dealer.
5.2 - The tower is delivered completely greased from the factory. Depending on its me-
chanical use, it is recommended that the sprockets on the winch and driveshaft and the
elevation profiles are periodically greased.
ATTENTION:
Do not grease or lubricate the brake mechanism located inside the plastic cover. The
brake discs have been previously greased with a special resistant grease to pressure
and heating. To avoid winch brake malfunction, products other than the originals supplied
by the company. It is not necessary to grease the brake discs.
5.3 - Your lifting tower must be inspected at least once a year by an authorized service
centre.
5.4 - Only original Kuzar replacement parts should be used to ensure reliability and ope-
rational safety of the tower. The user will lose all rights warranty if you use other spare
parts than the original ones or modify this product somehow.
5.5 - If a spare part is required, it is necessary to indicate the reference number which
can be found in the Parts List on the back of this Handbook.
6 - GUARANTEE.
All Kuzar towers come with a 2-year warranty. This warranty period starts from the date
of purchase. Kuzar will repair any product defects, whether caused by defects in ma-
terials or faulty workmanship free of charge within this term, as long as the parties are
related through an authorized Kuzar distributor. If the product has been tampered with in
any way or suffers an attempted repair by an unauthorized dealer, the warranty will not
be valid. This Warranty does not cover damage caused by improper use.
Kuzar reserves the right to make any modification / alteration of the tower without prior
notice. Any modification / alteration would be an innovation, intended to product impro-
vement.
