Ensure the Chipper Shredder is on stable
level ground so it won't tip over. Do not
operate the machine on a hard surface such
as concrete, as discharged material will

engine mounting plate is roughly horizontal. If
not – see maintenance instructions.

Turn switch on side of engine to "ON"
position.
4. Push choke lever to
position and throttle lever to fast position.
5.
Pull the starting cord until the engine starts.
