4.3 FIRST START-UP
DESCRIPTION
During the power up phase the blue LED will light up
and at the same time a short beep will be heard.
If there are no cards in memory, you will hear two long
beeps and the blue LED will start flashing slowly.
NOTES: If there is at least one card in memory there will be no further beep signals and the blue LED
will start flashing briefly.
4.4 LEARNING THE FIRST MASTER CARD
If the SEL5 reader does not contain any cards in memory, you will first need to learn a MASTER card.
To learn the first MASTER card, simply pass it on the SEL5 reader; you will hear a short beep sign that
the card has been learned and the blue LED will begin to flash briefly.
4.5 LEARNING AND CHANGING SERVICE IN USER CARDS
At least one MASTER card must be in memory to learn a USER card. Simply follow these steps to
learn a USER tab.
DESCRIPTION
Pass THE MASTER card on the receiver as many times
as the number of the service you want to match.
1 = START
2 = EXTERNAL RADAR
3 = INTERNAL RADAR
A short beep will be heard periodically if you have
chosen to match service number 1, two short beeps for
service number 2 etc.
Pass the USER card on the receiver
A short beep will indicate that the card has been learned
correctly.
NOTES: The learning process will continue for a further 15 seconds after which it will automatically cease.
4.6 DELETING USER CARDS
To delete A USER card, simply follow these steps.
DESCRIPTION
Pass the MASTER card on the receiver 4 times
You will hear a beep periodically indicating that you can
DELETE a USER card
Pass the USER card to be deleted on the receiver
A short beep will indicate that the card has been deleted
successfully.
NOTES: Once a card has been deleted, the procedure will automatically end. To finish the procedure
manually, simply pass the MASTER card again.
