STEAM IRONING
• Fill the tank with water.
• Through the steam adjustment command (4) choose the desired steam supply
(see chart A).
Note
• When the iron is placed vertically during the ironing pauses the steam supply is
automatically cut off.
• When used for the first time, some water drops can come out together with the
steam. This is to be considered normal. Before ironing you clothing do some
tests on an old cloth.
DRY IRONING
• Put the steam adjustment command (4) in position of dry ironing.
SPRAY FUNCTION
• This function allows to wet the clothing during both steam and dry ironing.
• To activate it push several time the spray button (6) e direct the water jet onto
the most resistant creases.
SUPER-STEAM FUNCTION
• Push several the super steam button (5): the iron will supply an instantaneous
high power steam jet.
Note:
• Don't consecutively push the button too many times to avoid coming of non
steamed water drops.
• Use this function only with the temperature adjustment knob (9) set up to the
steam function.
• When the super steam is used for the first time, some limestone scales could
come out so we advise you not to discharge the first steam jets directly onto
the clothing.
VERTICAL IRONING
To "liven up" the clothes hung on coat hangers, curtains etc. you can vertically
use the iron:
• Set the temperature adjustment knob (9) on Max indication.
• Hold the iron in vertical position at a distance of about 15-20 cm from the fabric.
• Push the super steam button (5) several times.
Note:
• Don't consecutively push the button too many times respecting the pauses of
some seconds between one operation and another after.
Important:
• Don't use this function on fabrics made of synthetic fibres.
• Maintain an adequate distance between the fabric and the ironing plate to avoid
burnings.
• Use this function exclusively on clothes hung on coat hangers. Don't ever
try to iron the clothes worn by a person: the steam is very hot, you could
cause serious burning.
SELF-CLEANING SYSTEM
Your iron is supplied with a self-cleaning system which allows to reduce the
formation of limestone deposits. In order that it produces its benefits it is
necessary to regularly effectuate the operation, al least once a month. Proceed
as following:

• Set the dry ironing function.
• Fill up the tank up to MAX level
• Make the iron function as normal bringing the plate to the maximum temperature.
• Disconnect the plug from the current socket when the iron is ready.
• Holding down the self-cleaning button (10) wag the iron in horizontal position,
above a sink or a basin. Let the tank get empty.The water-steam mixture will
eliminate a part of limestone residues present in the plate.
• Afterwards connect the plug to the current socket and moving the iron above an
old cloth, eliminate all the residue water present in the plate..
Important:
• Pay attention not to get in contact with the water that is comes out from
the plate since it is bowling and you could get burned.
Note:
• Before re-using the iron to iron the clothing, pass the cold plate on a dry cotton
cloth.
AFTER USE
• Disconnect the plug from the current socket.
• Empty the tank.
• Always put the steam adjustment command (4) in dry ironing position.
• Leave the iron to completely cool down.
• Place the iron in vertical position.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
• Before effectuating any cleaning operation, disconnect the plug from the
current socket and wait until the iron is completely cooled down.
• Clean the body of the iron only with a soft and dry cloth.
• Regularly clean the plate using a normal non abrasive sponge in order not to
ruin the plate surface.
• Don't use chemical or abrasive substances.
• Don't ever emerge the appliance in water or other liquid substances.

• The barred symbol of the rubbish bin shown on the equipment indicates that,
at the end of its useful life, the product must be collected separately from other
waste.
• Therefore, any products that have reached the end of their useful life must be
given to waste disposal centres specialising in separate collection of waste
electrical and electronic equipment, or given back to the retailer at the time of
purchasing new similar equipment, on a one for one basis.
• The adequate separate collection for the subsequent start-up of the equipment
sent to be recycled, treated and disposal of in an environmentally compatible
way contributes to preventing possible negative effects on the environment
and health and optimises the recycling and reuse of components making up
the apparatus.
• Abusive disposal of the product by the user involves application of the
administrative sanctions according to the laws in force.
