Installation instructions profi-air 250 flex defroster heater 1.4 kW
1. General
The profi-air defroster heater 1.4 kW ensures that the heat exchanger in the profi-air 250 flex ventilation unit is protected against
frost without having to temporarily turn off the supply air fan. The same holds true when combining the profi-air defroster heater
1.85 kW with the profi-air 360 flex ventilation unit.
1.1 Introduction
These installation and operating instructions are intended to help you install a fully functional profi-air defroster heater and properly
operate it. We recommend that you read these instructions carefully before you commence installation. These installation and
operating instructions can also serve as a reference for service and maintenance work, and guarantee smooth and efficient operation.
1.2 Safety
If used as intended, the device is safe and reliable to operate. Its construction and design are state of the art and comply with all
the relevant DIN / VDE regulations and safety provisions. All safety regulations, warnings and notices of these installation and operat-
ing instructions have to be complied with; non-compliance might result in personal injury and/or damage to the profi-air defroster
heater.

1.2.2 Safety equipment and measures
When installed, the profi-air defroster heater cannot be opened without tools

Make sure that the heating spiral cannot be touched with hands as long as the system is connected to the power grid

During maintenance, the defroster heater may thus be dismantled in the "dead" state only
