SETTING THE DATE AND TIME

1. Turn on the camera.

USING THE MODE DIAL

Use the mode dial to switch between the three shooting modes:
The A/S/M (advanced) mode include:
A Mode: Aperture Priority Mode, that is, the Aperture value
can be set manually, while the shutter speed is set
automatically.
S Mode: Shutter Speed Priority Mode, that is, the Shutter
speed can be set manually, while the Aperture will
be set automatically.
M Mode: Both Aperture and Shutter Speed can be set
manually.

TAKING PICTURES

1. Turn the Mode dial to A mode or A/S/M mode.
2. Frame the subject in the LCD.
• For best result, stand at least 0.8 m (2.62 ft.) away from the subject in
normal mode.
3. Press T or W button to zoom in or out the subject.
4. Press the Shutter button down halfway and hold there for a few seconds.
• When the camera has finished focus, the blue Auto Focus indicator will
appear. If auto focus failed, the white AF frame will change from white into red. In this case, please
release the Shutter and recompose.
5. Press the Shutter button fully down.
