Maintaining and cleaning MagicWatch

8.3 Testing the sensors
You can check to see if the sensors are still functioning properly by perform-
ing the following steps:
➤ Drive your car in until it is about 60 cm away from a wall (measured from
a sensor) and square in front of it.
➤ Turn off the engine and but leave the ignition on.
➤ Activate the system with the switch on the display.
✓ MagicWatch should now signal the distance (medium-length sound
sequence).
➤ At a distance of about 30 cm, hold your hand in front of the sensor you are
testing (e. g. the right sensor).
✓ The red LED lights up on the display. The sound sequence changes from
a pulsed tone to a continuous one.

Caution!
Do not use sharp or hard objects to clean the device as these may
damage the sensors.
➤ Clean the sensors with a damp cloth from time to time.
