Install the child car seat onto the Isofix base
in forward facing position, making sure that
the it is anchored into its securing points by
pushing downward (fig. 14).
If the operation has been performed cor-
rectly, it will be possible to turn the locking
knob with the arrow pointing to the closed
padlock (fig. 15).
Push the child car seat firmly against the
backrest of the car seat (fig. 16) to ensure
maximum adherence of the rotation lock
bar (O).
WARNING: check that the child car seat does
not slide on its base, repeat the operation if
there are any doubts.
WARNING: make sure that the seat is an-
chored correctly by attempting to lift the
child car seat; repeat the operation if there
are any doubts.
To remove the child car seat from the base,
turn the locking knob onto the open pad-
lock and lift the seat.
7. SEATING THE CHILD IN THE CHILD
CAR SEAT
Before sitting your child in the child car seat,
press the harness adjustment button (D)
and, at the same time, hold the two child car
seat harnesses under the shoulder straps,
and pull them in your direction to slacken
them (fig. 17).
Unfasten the buckle (F) of the child car seat
harnesses by pressing the red button (fig.
18), and pull the harnesses in an outward
direction. Now the child can be placed in
the child car seat (fig. 19).
Position the crotch strap correctly, take the
harnesses, overlap the two buckle straps
(fig. 20A and 20B) and push them together
firmly inside the buckle slot, until a click is
heard (fig. 21).
To remove the child from the child car seat,
press the red button on the buckle (G) and
release the restraint harness.
8. ADJUSTING THE HEADREST AND
HARNESSES
The height of the headrest and restraint har-
nesses can be simultaneously adjusted to 7
positions by using the headrest adjustment
ring (M).
WARNING! To adjust them correctly, the
headrest must be fitted so as to allow that
the harnesses come out from the backrest
at the height of the child's shoulders (fig.
22). To adjust the height, keep the adjust-
ment ring (F) located above the headrest
(fig. 23) in a taut position and, at the same
time, slide the headrest until the desired
position is reached; now release the ring
and ease the headrest until a click is heard,
indicating that it is locked correctly into po-
sition.
To tension the safety harness of the child car
seat, pull the adjustment strap (E) (fig. 24) of
the harness, until the harness straps adhere
to the child's body correctly.
WARNING! Do not over-tighten the harness-
es around the child: If you can insert one
finger between the harness and your child's
shoulders, it means that it is tightened cor-
rectly.
WARNING! Check that the harness is not
twisted.
9. ADJUSTING THE INCLINATION OF
THE CHILD CAR SEAT
The child car seat can be reclined to 3 po-
sitions.
To adjust the inclination of the child car
seat, pull the lever (J) located under the seat
downwards (fig. 25).
WARNING: when installing in rear facing po-
sition, the child car seat must be tilted in its
maximum position.
WARNING! After adjusting the child car seat
to the desired inclination, move the seat un-
til a click is heard, indicating that the lever is
locked correctly.
WARNING! During the adjustment opera-
tions, ensure that no mobile parts come
into contact with the child or other children
in the car seat.
10. MAINTENANCE
The cleaning and maintenance operations
must only be carried out by an adult.
How to clean the fabric cover
The child car seat's fabric cover can be re-
moved and cleaned by hand or in a wash-
ing machine at 30°C. Please refer to the care
