A Faber is forever!
Dear Customer, the following tips will be useful for you
to ensure that your Faber coffee machine
functions properly and is correctly maintained!
» After each dispensing, it is important to remove the pod from the special housing:
if you do not do it immediately after dispensing the coffee, you risk also removing
the special seal along with the now dry pod. In this case, let some water flow before
removing it.
» Your Faber coffee machine's tank must be adequately filled with water: if it is not,
you risk damaging the delivery pump. It is important that the inlet tube is immersed
in water.
» Perform a periodic descaling!
Remember that water contains calcium and magnesium salts which, when heated,
can form limescale, which are harmful to all appliances and must therefore be re-
moved. The process for removing limescale should be repeated according to the
use of the machine and the hardness of the water, approximately every 3 months.
It consists of just 3 simple steps. We recommend you use our Faber Descaler and
then follow the instructions on the label.
» If necessary, adjust your pod press with a simple gesture!
Should you notice water leaking near the pod when dispensing, you can adjust the
brass pod press, turning it to the left and then returning it to its original position.
This way you always get the best cup of coffee.
