EMPTYING AND CLEANING THE INSIDE OF THE bOILER TANK
IMPORTANT: Clean the boiler tank at least once every month so as to remove any
scale residues which might affect the normal operation of the appliance.
•
Switch off the appliance
•
Bleed out any pressure remaining in the boiler tank (L) using the steam
button (A) on the gun (C), pointing the jet into a suitable container.
•
Unplug it from the main power and leave it to cool before cleaning out the
boiler tank, so as to avoid the risk of scalds.
•
Slowly unscrew the boiler tank filler cap (M) and remove it completely.
•
Slowly add tap water to the boiler tank (L) to prevent any spurts of steam;
shake the appliance and turn it upside down to empty it. Repeat the operation
several times.
WARNING: Never add scale removers, vinegar or other perfumed substances to
the tank, as these risk damaging the appliance with immediate cancellation of
the warranty.
