The True Diversity* receiver uses the UHF range
672,000 – 696,975 MHz .
* True Diversity technology: The signal sent from the
wireless microphone is received by two antennas and
amplified in two separate receiver sections . The signal
of the highest power is then processed .
Frequency setting via the ACT function (Automatic
Channel Targeting) is a most convenient feature:
Simply press a button to set the wireless microphone
via IR signal to the channel selected on the receiver .

4 Operation
4.1 Connecting and switching on the receiver
1) Connect the receiving antennas (2) provided to
the antenna jacks ANT A and ANT B (13) . To lock
the antennas, turn the knurled ring of the plug
clockwise to the stop . Then set the antennas to
a vertical position .
To remove the antennas later, turn the ring
counter-clockwise first to unlock it .
2) Connect the receiver to the subsequent unit (e . g .
amplifier, mixer) . For this purpose, two audio
outputs are provided:
– MIC OUT (10) as an XLR jack, balanced
to connect a microphone input
– LINE OUT (12) as a 6 .3 mm jack, unbal .
to connect an input with line level; the output
level is adjustable (
3) Connect the power supply unit provided to the
power supply jack DC INPUT (9) and to a mains
socket (230 V/ 50 Hz) .
4) To switch on the receiver, press the button
POWER (8) until the display (3) lights up .
To switch off the receiver, press the button
until the display shows OFF . If the receiver is not
in use for a longer period of time, disconnect the
power supply unit of the receiver from the mains
socket; even with the receiver switched off, the
power supply unit has a low power consumption .

4.2 Setting the transmission channel

Scan a free transmission channel automatically or
set it manually . Then simply press a button to set
the wireless microphone via IR signal to the same
channel .
The wireless microphones TXS-606... / 2 operate
in a smaller frequency range; therefore, it is not
pos sible to use the channel groups 08 and 09 .
1) To automatically scan a free receiving channel,
keep the button ACT (7) pressed until the display
indicates the scan mode (
riod of time, the display will show the number of
the channel found . The corresponding frequencies
can be found in the table on pages 24 / 25 .
2) To manually set a specific transmission fre-
quency, see the table on pages 24 / 25 for
the corresponding channel group and channel
number .

GROUP will start flashing on the display .
