Electrical connection
1. Connect the device to a duly installed 220-240V~ 50/60Hz protective
contact socket.
2. Before inserting the plug into the socket, make sure that the mains voltage
to be used matches that of the device. You can find this information on the
nameplate.
How to use the hand blender
As a handheld blender
The hand blender is perfectly suited for preparing dips, sauces, soups,
mayonnaise and baby food as well as for mixing and milkshakes.
1. Insert the blender shaft onto the motor unit until you hear the "click" that
tells you it has locked.
2. To avoid splashing, first immerse the blade guard completely into the
ingredients, plug in the appliance and then press and hold the switch (I)
to work at the set speed (control knob F) or turbo switch (II).
3. Move the appliance slowly up and down and in circles to blend the
ingredient.
4. Unplug then remove the blender shaft after use.
5. You can use the hand blender in the measuring beaker and just as well in
any other vessel.
As a personal blender
Make healthy smoothies and juices everywhere you go.
1. Place the blender bottle on a flat, secure surface.
2. Add chopped ingredients to the blender bottle, ensuring that they not
exceed the maximum fill mark.
3. Insert the cross-blade attachment into the blender bottle and turn the
attachment clockwise to secure it to the bottle.
4. Insert the motor unit on the top of the blender bottle until you hear the
"click" that tells you it has locked.
5. Plug the blender into the electrical outlet.
6. Invert the blender bottle so that the motor unit is at the bottom and the
bottle on top. With the bottle in one hand, use the other hand to press
and hold the switch (I) to work at the set speed (control knob F) or turbo
switch (II).
7. When you are finished blending the ingredients, release the button and
unplug the blender.
