CHAPTER 3
The unit must always remain connected to the vehicle's power supply (see
below).
At your own risk, you may choose a temporary connection to the cigarette
lighter socket.
CONNECTION TO THE VEHICLE'S POWER SUPPLY
1/ Measure the cable length needed to reach from the connector on the unit to the
vehicle's power supply, then remove the cigarette lighter plug and any excess cable.
2/ Locate the connection points in the vehicle using the diagram below. The black ignition
signal wire should be connected to the vehicle ignition.

If the vehicle's power supply is already protected, this step is not necessary.
4/ Finally, connect each wire to the connection points you have identified (vehicle power,
ignition and earth).
This installation should be carried out by an electrician qualified to work on
vehicles. The supplier cannot be held liable in the event of any damage or
incorrect installation.
TEMPORARY CONNECTION
(THIS MODE IS NOT RECOMMENDED)
Connect the cigarette lighter cable to the
vehicle socket and make sure:
1/ The plug is securely connected.
2/ The cable (part C) will not get in the driver's
way.
You must make sure the unit does not become
disconnected.
Connecting your unit incorrectly may degrade its performance (see chapter 10)
and make you liable for fines.
