6. HOW TO START - STOP THE MOTOR
STARTING THE MOTOR (Fig. 1)
Before starting the motor:
– Press the upper part of the catch found in the rear
handgrip and insert the power lead (1) so that it
fastens to the cable clamp.
– FIRST connect the power cable plug (2) to the ex-
tension lead (3) and THEN plug the extension lead
into the mains socket (4).
– Remove the blade protection devices.
– Make sure the blade is not touching the ground
or any other object.
– Make sure that the front handgrip is locked in
the centre position.
To start the motor:
1. Hold the machine firmly with both hands.
2. Rotate the handle of the safety switch (5 – located
in the front handgrip) and press the switch (6).

– Release the switches (5) and (6).
– FIRST unplug the extension lead (3) from the
mains socket (4) and THEN disconnect the
power cable (2) of the machine from the exten-
sion lead (3).

up by the machine or damage the cutting
device (branches, iron wire, hidden
