Safety devices
Splitting wedge
The splitting wedge (16) prevents a workpiece
from being caught by the rising teeth and being
hurled against the operator.
The splitting wedge must always be mounted
during operation as a circular bench saw.
Swarf cover
T h e s w a r f c o v e r ( 1 7 ) p r o t e c t s a g a i n s t
inadvertent touching of the saw blade and
against flying chips. The swarf cover must
always be mounted during operation as a
bench circular saw.
Slide rod
The slide rod (23) serves as an extension of
your hand and protects you against inadvertent
touching of the saw blade. The slide rod must
always be used if the distance between the

stop profile and saw blade is less than 120
mm.
Protective box
The protective box (24) protects against
inadvertent touching of the saw blade and
against flying chips. The protective box must
always be mounted during operation as a
crosscut and mitre saw.
Reciprocating protective hood
The reciprocating protective hood (5) protects
against inadvertent touching of the saw blade
and against flying chips.
When the tool arm is moved upwards during
operation as a crosscut saw, the saw blade
m u s t b e f u l l y c o v e r e d b y t h e t w o p i e c e
reciprocating protective hood. The reciprocating
