6.4 IDENTIFYING TECHNICAL DATA OF THE ELECTRICITY NETWORK
Check that the voltage and frequency to which the plancha has been manufactured is compatible with those of the supply network.
Check that the location's electrical installation is strong enough to supply the plancha with its maximum heat input as indicated.
6.5 CONNECTING THE DEVICE TO THE ELECTRICITY NETWORK
Make sure the socket is easily accessible. Once the electrical data has been checked, it is the installer, who is responsible for
connecting the device to the general network by plugging the cable into the socket.
6.6 SMOKE EXTRACTION
The appliance must be placed underneath an extraction unit in order to ensure the complete evacuation of combustion gases
and smoke generated during cooking and in order to avoid their concentration.
6.7 OPERATION
LIGHTING THE PLANCHA BARBECUE:
1.Check that the appliance is connected to the socket.
2.Put the switch in the on-position and check the pilot light indicating the plancha is in operation.
3.Set the plancha temperature with the control knob.
The plancha is now ready for its use, i. e. for cooking foods.
SWITCHING OFF THE PLANCHA:
1. Turn the temperature control knob to its minimum position.
2. Put the switch into the off-position ().
3. Disconnect the device from the power supply.
6.8 VERIFYING THE PLANCHA OPERATION
Once the appliance has been switched on, the installer has to keep on verifying its well-functioning in compliance with the
regulations of the destined country.
It is the responsibility of the installer to perform these checks in accordance with current regulations.
