part of the appliance.
16. TRANSPORT
One of the great advantages of this appliance
is that it can be taken everywhere, using the
wheeled base or the shoulder strap.
To move it with the base, only for the
Handy_Pure/Handy25_Plus models, make su-
re that it is attached to the appliance.
To attach it, proceed as follows:
- First insert the front part, then push the ap-
pliance downwards until you hear the lever
click (15).
- To release the base, press the lever
downward (14), and lift the appliance using
the handle.
For transporting with the carrying strap, make
sure that the base is released from the applian-
ce (only for the Handy_Pure/Handy25_Plus
models), then hook the carrying strap to the
two holes (16)-(17)
ATTENTION: especially when the appliance
has just been filled, during cleaning and con-
sequently when moving the appliance, a
small amount of water may leak out mixed
with the steam from the accessories.
17. STORAGE
17.1 Turn off the appliance and disconnect
from the mains electricity.
17.2 The floor brush can be replaced in the
parking unit (18).
17.3 For the Handy_Pure/Handy25_Plus mo-
dels only, it is possible to replace the applian-
ce by placing the brush with the hoses and
the flexible hose in the parking unit (19)-(20).
Wind the power cable around the special ca-
ble winders of the extension hoses (20). The
smaller accessories can be replaced in the ac-
cessory-holder base (13).
18. FRESCOVAPOR
only for the Handy_Pure model
WARNING: Never put FrescoVapor in the
boiler. Only use water in the boiler, following
the instructions listed in the chapter 1.
FrescoVapor is a air freshener that contains
natural substances. When mixed with steam it
releases a fresh perfume in every space and,
thanks to its special composition, it is able to
eliminate bad odours.
To use FrescoVapor, proceed as follows:
- Unscrew the cap (21) of the deodorant re-
servoir of the steam gun and fill it with Fre-
scoVapor (22).
- Screw on the cap.
- To adjust the quantity of deodorant, use the
adjustment (23),
FrescoVapor can be used combined with the
steam to clean all surfaces and with all the ac-
cessories, as described in the paragraph "Use".
By increasing the quantity of deodorant, the
surface will be slightly damper, since Fresco-
Vapor mixes with the steam being dispen-
sed. To avoid dispensing FrescoVapor, turn
the adjustment completely forward ( OFF).
The adjustment only determines the quan-
tity of deodorant that mixes with the steam.
It does not regulate the quantity of steam.
To adjust the quantity of steam, you must
use the steam-adjustment dial (9).

FrescoVapor is on sale at household applian-
ce stores, at Polti authorised service centres
or on the site www.polti.com.

WARNING: Before using FrescoVapor on
upholstery, leather, special fabrics and wood
surfaces, consult the manufacturer's instruc-
tions and always carry out a test on a hidden
part or sample of the material. Allow the stea-
med part to dry to make sure that no chan-
ges in colour or deformations have occurred.
