chamber. The ignition transformer then comes on, and 2 seconds
later the gas valves open. The main valve, which is slow opening,
I
has a device for adjusting gas delivery.
The safety valve is an ON/OFF valve.
S
Combustion air may be adjusted manually using the air lock (see
H
section entitled "Diagram for adjustment of air in burner TBG 35").
As the burner is ON/OFF, the position of the air lock must be regu-
lated for operation at maximum capacity.
The presence of the flame, detected by the control device, permits
continuation and completion of ignition, turning off the ignition
transformer.
The second flame then comes on (the second stage in the main
valve opens).
If there is no flame, the appliance goes to "safety lock-out" mode
within 3 seconds of the opening of the first flame on the main valve.
In "safety lock-out" mode the valves are closed again immediately.
To release the appliance from safety lock-out mode, press button
(13) on the electrical panel.
DESCRIPTION OF OPERATION TBG 35P
The gas train equipped with the TBG 35P burner is composed of an
ON/OFF safety valve and a single stage slow opening main valve.
The gas flow adjustment in the first and second stage is carried
out by a streamlined valve activated by the electric servomotor (1).
The movement of the air shutter (2) is caused by the rotation of the
servomotor (1) through the lever and return system (3). For the
adjustment of the air shutter position according
to the power burned in the first and second stage,
consult section: "Starting up and regulation". If
when the main switch is closed, the thermostats are closed, the
voltage reaches the command and control equipment which starts
the boiler..
This turns on the fan motor for preventilation of the combustion
chamber. The rotation of the command servomotor (1) which
activates the gas throttle and the air shutter, through the action of
leverage (3), in the opening position corrisponding to the second
flame. The preventilation phase comes only with the air shutter in
the second flame position. At the end of the preventilation phase,
the gas throttle and the air shutter are returned to the first flame
position, then the ignition transformer comes on and, 2 seconds
later, the gas valves open.
The presence of the flame, detected by the control device, permits
continuation and completion of ignition, turning off the ignition
transformer. Then passing on to the second stage of power through
the progressive opening of the gas throttle and the air shutter at the
same time . At the moment in which the demand for heat from the
system is satisfied, the boiler thermostat will intervene and shut down
the boiler. The air shutter through the rotation of the servomotor will
reach the closed position when inactive.
In the event that the control device does not detect the presence of
a flame, the control box activates a "safety shut down" within 3 sec-
onds of the opening of the main gas valve. In "safety lock-out" mode
the valves are closed again immediately. To release the equipment
from its safety position you have to press the release button (13).
