Reassembling after Cleaning

Place the machine body on a stable, safe, dry, horizontal surface.
•
Hold the edge of the pot on both sides to lower it into the fryer.
•
Reconnect the control unit to the body.
•
Until the elements are correctly assembled.
•
Note: The fryer will not work if the control unit is not attached to the body.
To store the fryer, replace the basket, fold back the handle and close the lid.

d) Troubleshooting
The appliance does not
heat up; no indicator
light comes on (only the
timer works)
SAFETY: Your appliance is fitted with a temperature safety mechanism.
The temperature safety mechanism may turn off the appliance automatically if it overheats (use
when empty, insufficient oil level, used for too long).
If the temperature safety mechanism triggers:
1- Disconnect your appliance and allow it to cool for 30 minutes
2- Take the control unit out of its housing and reset the temperature safety mechanism by using
a rod to press the "RESTART" button located on the case of the unit (see the image below for
the location of the button)

Check that the wall socket is working

Check that the circuit breaker on the fuse box in your

house has not tripped
Check that the control unit is correctly inserted into
•
the housing of the appliance.
Check that the temperature safety mechanism has
•
not been triggered (see below)
