EN
INSTALLATION
The glass washers have been designed and produced in accordance with the following standards:
- Low voltage directive 73/23 / EEC
- EN 60335-1 safety of electrical devices
- EN 60335-52 specific standards for institutional dishwashers.
The instructions contained in this manual give valuable and important information regarding the safety of
the installation, the use and maintenance of this device.
It is strongly recommended to keep it in a safe hand so that technicians and operators can consult it later.
The appliance must be installed in accordance with the instructions given by the manufacturer and only
professional and competent personnel can install it.
These models are designed for fixed connection only.
It is recommended not to leave the various elements of the packaging (plastic bags, expanded polystyrene,
nails, etc.), representing the causes of danger, within the reach of children.
Following the instructions in the technical sheet, install in the room where the appliance will be placed the
installations relating to the electricity supply, the water supply and the evacuation of waste water.
Setting up the device
Unpack the material from its packaging.
Screw the adjustable feet under the base in the threaded parts reserved for this use. Place the machine in
its place, making sure it is level when turning these feet.
The machine can be installed under the counter, in this case the side and rear walls can adhere to the
corresponding ones of the appliance while a distance of at least 2 cm must be left at the top.
In order to avoid possible damage due to the normal escape of water vapor, make sure that the equipment
adjacent to the machine does not deteriorate on contact.
Before connecting the machine to the water and electricity network, make sure, using the characteristics
label (C-3), that it is carefully taken into consideration during the different phases of the installation. Only
the parts supplied by the manufacturer were able to guarantee a perfect conformity of the machines with
the data of the diagrams, any repairs must only be made with original parts.
Any unauthorized intervention and any use of spare parts other than original will automatically void the
warranty.
Hydraulic connection
To connect the appliance, only use a gate valve that will cut off the water supply in the event of need or
repair. The standard machine is equipped with a non-return valve (EN50084 compliant) which is located on
the water supply line.
The minimum supply pressure, which is measured at the water inlet of the machine at the time of the final
rinse (flow pressure), must be at least equal to 150 kPa (1.5 bar) or greater than 400 kPa (4 bar) even if
other taps are open on the same line. We recommend that each machine has its own suitable water inlet. If
the pressure is below the minimum required, consider installing an additional pump (Available as an
option).
If the static pressure is greater than 400 kPa (4 bar), the installation of a pressure reducer upstream of the
supply piping becomes necessary. Check that the supply water temperature is at least equal to that
indicated on the technical sheet. The flow rate of the machine's supply pipe must be at least equal to 15l /
min.
Best washing results are obtained if the feed water hardness is between 7 and 12 ° F. If the water hardness
is greater than 12 ° F, then we recommend installing a water softener upstream of the supply solenoid
valve set for a residual hardness of 5/7 ° F.
Using the flexible pipe, connect the charging solenoid valve to the supply valve.
Respect any National or Regional standards in force.
