Installation and connection
B, C
Ensure that units are positioned and secured such that they cannot present a hazard:
Install the transformer at a minimum safety distance of 2 m from the water.
How to proceed:
Route the connection cable of the fogger unit through the float unit.
Place the fogger unit into the float unit. Ensure that the LEDS point upwards.
Connect the plug of the connection cable to the socket on the transformer and hand-tighten the union nut.
Place the fogger into the water.
Commissioning/start-up
Attention! Dangerous electrical voltage.
Possible consequences: Death or severe injury.
Protective measures:
Electrical units and installations with a rated voltage of U > 12 V AC or U >30 V DC located in the water:
Isolate the units and installations (switch off and disconnect from the power supply) before reaching into
the water.
Isolate the unit before starting any work.
Secure the unit to prevent unintentional switching on.
Sensitive electrical components.
Possible consequences: The device will be destroyed.
Protective measure: Do not connect the unit to a dimmable power supply.
Switching on: Insert the power plug of the transformer into the mains socket.
Check the function of the fogger.
Switching off: Disconnect the transformer power plug.
The operating life of the membrane depends on the operating time, water hardness, water purity etc.
PfG recommends: Do not use the unit for longer than 4 to 6 hours a day.
