ATTENTION
• Carefully read these instructions before using the appliance for the first
time.
• Keep all plastic bags and packaging components out of the reach of
children. They are potentially dangerous.
• VERY IMPORTANT: Do not connect the hair dryer without making
sure that the voltage selector (3) is set to the correct position,
according to the voltage of the household. If this is not the case,
use a small screwdriver or coin to set it to the appropriate
position.
• Do not leave working on clothes, soft materials or while not in use.
• Keep out of the reach of children.
• While in use, avoid obstructing the air inlet and outlet, as the hair dryer
has a safety device that would cause the dryer to disconnect automatically.
If this were to happen disconnect it immediately and allow it to cool.
Once cold it may be turned on again.
• Do not direct the airflow to the eyes or any other sensitive area.
• VERY IMPORTANT: Do not immerse in water.
• Do not use this appliance near the water contained in bathtubs, wash
basins or other containers.
• When used in a bathroom, disconnect after use. The proximity of water
represents a danger even when the dryer is off.
• To ensure a complementary protection it is advisable to install in the
electrical circuit of the bathroom a residual differential current device
(DDR) of differential current of assigned capacity that does not exceed
30 mA. Ask your supplier for advice.
• Allow it to cool before storing.
• If the cable were to deteriorate it must be changed by an Authorised
Service Centre.
INSTRUCTIONS OF USE
• Open the foldable handle (4).
• Connect the appliance to the mains.
• Make sure the selector (3) is set according to the voltage of the place
where it is going to be used.
• Slide the "On" switch (2) to the desired position:
0- "Off".
1- Minimum power.
2- Maximum power.
• The air concentrator (6) is put onto the nozzle of the hair-dryer with
a slight pressure.
• The hair-dryer has two adapters, which allow it to be used in different
types of plugs.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
• Before you proceed to cleaning disconnect the appliance from the
mains.
• You may clean it with a damp cloth and dry carefully afterwards.
• Do not use abrasive or chemical products, such as metallic scourers,
which may deteriorate the surfaces of the appliance.
• It is very important to keep the air intake gird (1) always clean.
• Clean them frequently of any hairs or dust, which may get stuck to
them.
