To connect an MD or DAT deck for
analog recording
You can record from the various sound
sources of the stereo system to an MD or
DAT deck in analog sound. Make sure you
connect the plugs to jacks of the same color.
You can listen to the sound from the MD
deck by pressing FUNCTION repeatedly to
select MD.

To listen to sound from the MD or
DAT deck
Press FUNCTION repeatedly to select
"MD".
If you cannot select "MD" by pressing
FUNCTION
Select "VIDEO" and turn the power off.
Then, press POWER while holding down
FUNCTION.
"VIDEO" will be switched to "MD".
To return to "VIDEO", repeat this
procedure.
Note
You cannot record the sound effects created
by "music menu", "DBFB", or "GROOVE"
with analog recording from the AUDIO
OUT jacks. However, you can record the
sound created by "KARAOKE PON/
MPX", "surround effect" and "key control".

jacks.
Before you connect, check which type of
turntable you have.
