ENGLISH
Setting the torque (cutoff moment) with the setting wheel.
1 = smallest torque to be set . .
6 = largest torque to be set . . .
= drilling operation . . . . . . . . .
no torque limitation
The torque is limited electronically with the setting wheel and is available almost
constantly for the entire speed range.
If the expenditure of energy exceeds the set torque – e.g. when the screw is
screwed-in flush – the machine sets the speed of rotation to zero. The set torque,
however, is still available at the work spindle as long as the On-/Off switch is
depressed, and can be used to level and fix the screw.
The settings stated in the table are
standard values. The optimum setting
depends on the material and can
determined by trying out.
To loosen screws in left-hand operation the
max. torque is available for the entire
speed range.
For drilling/percussion drilling with large
drill bits the torque setting wheel must be
set to . In this setting the torque limitation
is switched off and the maximum torque
becomes available.
Small drill bits can be protected by limiting the torque.
Intermittent use
Switching on: Press On-/off switch
Switching off: Release On-/off switch
Continuous use
Switching on: Press the On-/off switch and
then the locking button, after that release
on-off switch.
Switching off: Press the On-/off switch and
then release.
The speed can be controlled in infinitely
variable steps up to the speed
preselected at the speed dial, according to
the finger pressure on the On-/off switch.
