Safety Instructions
1. Read this user manual thoroughly before
first use and pass it on with the product. Pay
attention to the warnings on the product
and in this user manual. It contains important
information for your safety as well as for the use
and maintenance of the equipment.
2. Use the product only for its intended purpose
and with recommended accessories and
components. Improper use or wrong operation
may lead to hazards.
3. Never leave the product unsupervised while it is
switched on.
4. Do not place heavy objects on top of the
product.
5. Never immerse electrical parts of the product in
water during cleaning or operation. Never hold
the product under running water.
6. Do not under any circumstances attempt (e.g.
damage in power cord, product is dropped, etc.)
to repair the product yourself. For servicing and
repairs, please consult an authorised service
agent.
7. The mains voltage must match the information
on the rating label of the product.
8. Only unplug from the power socket can separate
the product completely from the mains. Please
be sure that the power plug is in operable
condition.
9. Avoid damages to the power cord that may be
caused by kinks or contact with sharp corners.
10. Keep this product including power cord and
power plug away from all heat sources like for
example, ovens, hot plates and other heat-
producing products/objects.
11. Only unplug from the power socket by the plug
itself. Do not pull on the cord.
12. Unplug the product ...
- when the product is not being used,
- in case of malfunctions,
- before attaching / detaching accessories and
- before cleaning the product.
13. Use this product in dry indoor areas only and
never outdoors.
14. Place the product on a flat, sturdy and
slipresistant surface.
15. Never use, expose or put the product near to:
- direct sunlight and dust;
- fire (fireplace, grill, candles), water (water
splashes, vases, ponds, bath tube) or heavy
moisture.

16. This product is not intended for commercial use.
It is designed for household use only.
17. Do not remove the guard or insert any object
during operation.
18. Before cleaning, always let the product come
to a complete stop and disconnect it from the
mains.
19. In order to avoid overheating, do not cover the
product.
20. Small children, children and older people should
not be exposed to cold air currents for a long
time.
21. Keep product away from loose objects such as
plants, curtains, etc.
22. The product may only be connected to the mains
once it has been completely assembled.
23. Follow the instructions in the chapter Cleaning
and care.
24. Never expose batteries to excessive heat (e.g.
bright sun, fire), and never throw them into fire.
The batteries could explode.
25. Keep batteries out of reach of small children. If
batteries have been swallowed, seek immediate
medical attention.
26. If the batteries leak, remove them with a cloth
and dispose of them accordingly. Prevent battery
acid from coming into contact with skin and eyes.
If you do get battery acid in your eyes, flush
them thoroughly with lots of water and consult a
physician immediately. If battery acid comes into
contact with your skin, wash the affected area
with lots of water and soap.
